About Me

I’m Jessy, an adventurous photographer based in Louisville, KY. I got my start working in productions for concerts in San Antonio, TX. During that time someone put a camera in my hands and told me to go take shots of the bands. I realized I loved sneaking around the stage taking pictures, which sparked my interest in a career in photography. Later, I joined Lifetouch, where I gained experience creating portraits and working with families in a studio setting. I’ve also worked as a contract photographer shooting products for Amazon. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in photography in 2019, as I developed my focus on portraits, music, events and commercial photography. Whether it’s new headshots, a family photo in the park, live music or 10 pairs of shoes you need photographed for your business, I’ve got you covered.

When I’m not working on a photography project I can be found with my husband and our two dogs, Peyton and Mabel. I met my husband 15 years ago in California while working in productions for a touring band. My husband is a Louisville musician and was on tour with his band when our paths crossed. We quickly fell in love and I moved to Louisville, KY with him. We enjoy rocking out at concerts and going on adventures with the dogs. During my down time I enjoy watching movies, beating my husband at video games and playing the drums. (My dogs and husband are the only ones allowed to hear me play.)
